Safeguarding

At Nottingham Nursery School, the governors and staff fully recognise the contribution the nursery makes to safeguarding children. We recognise that the safety and protection of all pupils is of paramount importance and that all staff, including volunteers, have a full and active part to play in providing early help and protecting pupils from harm. We believe that the nursery should provide a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment, which promotes all pupils’ social, physical, emotional and moral development. In delivering this ambition, we will adhere to the principles set out in Nottingham’s Safeguarding Children’s Partnership Threshold of Need Document and Nottingham City Safeguarding Partners Policy, Procedures and Practice Guidance.
